◎剧情简介　
Josh（Jonathan Sadowski）是一位年轻富有的旧金山高科技企业家，他遇到年轻时尚、争强好斗的饮食博客作家Gabi（Emily Osment）后立即决定聘用她担任自己的私人厨师，两个原本不可能交叉的世界开始相互碰撞。Gabi并非一个十分优雅完美的厨师，她为人率直，甚至有些愚笨，风格令人瞠目结舌。不过她的厨艺确实精湛，仿佛早就知道别人想要吃什么似的。她对新工作充满期待，但她必须证明自己的能力——准确地说，她必须赢得Josh的助理、公关先生Elliott（Rex Lee）的信任。Elliott非常容易兴奋，常被人看做「都市美型男」（metrosexual）。他倾向于寻找一个著名厨师而不是一个乳臭未干的黄毛丫头，这让Gabi有些不高兴。Josh准备和女友共进浪漫晚餐，于是吩咐Gabi好好准备。这顿饭吃出了大问题，Gabi陷入一种非常尴尬的情形。在死党Sofia（Aimee Carrero）和Josh的管家（Kym Whitley）的帮助下，Gabi将这种尴尬情形转化成工作机会……甚至是赢得爱情的机会
